"Let Russian Navy Be!" – The Day of the Navy

27 july, 2014, Yaroslavl region

Annually in one of the oldest provincial museums in Russia that has come into being due to the youthful interest of Peter the Great for ship building on the shores of the lake Pereslavskoye, the Day of the Navy is marked.

The best historical clubs and theaters, dance and musical groups of Russia will make the celebration guests to have a fascinating journey through the history.

At the event one can see a theatrical performance, enjoy the tsar fish-soup and “porridge from an ax”, try a suit of medieval warrior or a beautiful lady, see fireworks in a park, show their talents and get the charge of good mood at playgrounds.

The event is aimed at the military and patriotic education of citizens, the preservation of the historical past, the perpetuation of the memory of important historical events.
